Harold “Trey” Ring III ________________________________________________________________________
I
was recently laid off due to the lowered cost of oil. I just began
working in North Dakota Bakken Shale. I have worked in GOM Shelf
(almost every block), Deepwater GOM, Eagleford Shale, West Texas Permian
Cline Shale and briefly the North Dakota Bakken. I have almost 7 years’
experience in those areas drilling many wells as a Rig Clerk / Wellview
Technician. All of my experience is field work. However, I am pursuing
a career in the office so that I may afford myself the opportunity for
advancement as well as 401k retirement, insurance and employee benefits.
I am hoping to make one last move, then retire with company having moved up
the ladder as far as I am allowed to go. Work
History: 10/2014
to 02/2015 Hunt Oil Company – North Dakota Bakken Shale. Rig
Clerk for drilling operations in North Dakota. I was assigned to
H&P 317 for the duration of my time employed. While in North Dakota
we were averaging Spud to TD in 12-14 days and Spud to RR in 14-16
days. I completed 8 wells in my short time there. All were within
3% over/under AFE when we conducted our AFE vs Actual reconciliation. To
summarize this job is we do everything except for well control. Duties
are much like an engineering tech for the field. My job is to collect
and input all drilling data from spud to TD / completions (depending on what
type of well we are on) into Wellview reporting program in accordance with
Hunt policies and generate the desired reports daily, weekly, monthly
etc…. Oversee all invoices and either approve or deny invoices.
Track all costs through Wellview to maintain an accurate account of well
costs. Generate cost reports by sections, AFE, or variances. Work
directly with procurement and strategic purchasing department on well
reconciliation reports. Maintain an accurate account of Hunt owned equipment
on location and keep track of all equipment sent in for inspection.
Scheduling our vendors to arrive on location in accordance with the time
estimator. I generate reports daily, weekly and monthly from the data I
collect and input into Wellview to include: · DDR · DCR · DVD · Casing
Tally (Wellview and exported to excel) · Bit usage
records · AFE vs
Actual · Cost by
vendor · BHA

report that Wellview offers on the tree I have generated from the data I
collect and input. 07/2013
to 9/2014 Chevron
(Phoenix) – Logistics Coordinator for Deepwater Operations – Bigfoot Project
and Ensco 81 - GOM Shelf. I
was assigned to Bigfoot operated by Nabors MOD 400 in Walker Ridge 26.
I also rotated to the GOM Shelf for a total of 6 wells completed. All
but one were on or under budget +/- 3%. The one well was not was due to
error on behalf of the directional driller milling a window on the wrong side
of the drive pipe. My
overall responsibilities for the drilling site and drilling process are to
coordinate all logistics needed from spud to TD for drilling to include daily
entries in Wellview and daily reporting through Wellview. Work with
directional drillers to perform calculations to manage the directional
drilling of the well. Calculate degrees of the build section to
determine depths of casing. Ordering casing and all float equipment, DV

mud engineer to ensure that mud properties are correct and in accordance with
the drilling prog. Maintain all supplies, chemicals and parts needed on
the drilling site. Tracking daily rentals and costs. Any and all other
